Fatal Shooting Affray.
The town of Swords Creek, on the Clinch Valley district, was the scene Tuesday night of a shooting scrape in which "Shorty" Nuckles, a well known young man of that place, is said to have been probably fatally wounded by Robert Ball. Nuckles was hit once, the ball entering his abdomen and passing through his body. The cause of the trouble could not be learned.
