Russell county has a $11,000 jail, and all its jail birds safe therein.

Russell county has, also, 65 State convicts at work on the public roads.

These convicts do not cost the of Russell a single cent-Virginia sends them, boards, guards and them.

They are building a high class road to Lebanon from Cleveland. Only one convict escaped so far. Russell will have an automobile line from the county seat to the railroad. And this is not all.
