Capt. John P. Jenks, who recently returned from an extended visit to Mercer county, W. Va., stopped at Staffordsville, Va., where he was the guest of his daughter, Mrs. G. M. Henderson. From there he went to Pulaski and spent a few days as the guest of Dr. Clint Henderson and Capt. B. F. Moorehead. He met many old friends on this trip and speaks highly of the kindness he received by every one.
