Major J. F. McElhenny, of Lebanon, a good patron of the EXAMINER, and a warm-hearted gentleman of the Old Virginia type, was in the city this week, and gave us a pleasant call. He has a most winning, but somewhat peculiar, knack of making printers feel happy and editors independent. May many others do likewise.
