We learn that Mr. J. W. Bausell, the well-known newspaper man and Confederate soldier, of Lebanon, is a candidate for Sargeant-at-Arms for the next Legislature, and he would fill the position well. As we recall, this position has been held by one man, from East Virginia, from time almost immemorial, and a change might be made. Mr. Bausell has many friends in this and other sections of the State, who hope he may be successful in his candidacy.
