WHOLESALE POISONING. The Lee County Sentinal says: We learn through a letter from Mr. William Denny, of Elk Garden, Russell county, to his father in this place, that James, Andy and Joe Jackson, three brothers, and a women whose name is unknown, all died one day last week from poisoning. Some one in the neighborhood had lost a good deal of butter from time to time by thieves, and finally determined to put a stop to it by poisoning a crock of butter. The plan was carried out, and the above facts pointed out the guilty parties.
