Clint Trent Gets 15 Years.
Big Stone Gap, Va., Dec. 20.-Clint Trent, who has been in the Lebanon jail since last August, charged with the murder of three Greeks and of seriously wounding two other men at Dante, has been sentenced to fifteen years in the penitentiary at Richmond. The killing, as reported at the time, grew out of undue anxiety on the part of the Greeks to get their pay from a contractor, and becoming impatient took some of the contractor's tools to their shanty, firing on an associate who went to claim the property. Trent, an employe at the mines nearby, attracted by the shooting, ran to the shanty and engaged in the melee, killing two men instantly, the third dying in only a few hours.
