On last Tuesday morning before daylight a raiding party, headed by Col. Wayne Ferguson, special revenue agent, went to the place on Swords Creek where George W. Ratliff was killed recently by moonshiners. The raiding party succeeded in destroying the still that Ratliff and Ferguson were going to when Ratliff was killed. A young man by the name of Charles Brown, who was suspected of being connected with the killing of Ratliff, was captured by T. L. Felts, of the Baldwin detective agency, and R. M. Baldwin. Brown is now lodged in jail at Tazewell.
