On the 14th inst. Deputy U. S. Marshal Geo. Harrisson arrested T. A. Altizer at Swords Creek, Russell county. Altizer is charged with running a moonshine still on Indian Creek in this county. He was taken before U. S. Commissioner T. A. Gillespie the day he was arrested, and gave bond to appear before the commissioner on the 23rd inst. On that day he appeared, and the commissioner sent Altizer on for indictment by the U. S. grand jury. He was brought to this place and is now confined in the county jail.
