On Tuesday of last week Mrs. G. W. Sample died at Swords Creek, Va. Mr. Sample is the leading merchant of that place and is well known at Tazewell, being a member of Clinch Valley Commandery, K. T. Mrs. Sample was quite young, being only about twenty-two years old, and her death was a very sad one. She left three children, a girl five years old, a boy three years old and an infant only a few hours old. We deeply sympathize with the husband in his sad bereavement.
