Lebanon, Va., Oct. 24. Judge W. E. Burns was a visitor to Roanoke last week.

Vance Easterley has returned from a trip to North Carolina.

Miss Nellie Burns spent a few days last week in Bluefield.

Miss Nan Crockett, of Graham, is the guest of Miss Don Shuler.

Fred Steele, of Tazewell, was a visitor to Lebanon last week.

John G. Banner, of St. Paul, was a visitor to our town last week.

B. T. Wilson has returned from a visit to the lower part of the county.

S. B. Quillen is looking after legal matters at Wise and Lynchburg this week.

Miss Kathleen Easterley, who has been ill with typhoid fever, is recovering rapidly.

E. S. Finney spent a few days in Bluefield last week looking after some legal matters.

J. J. Payne, who has been visiting his people in Kentucky for the past two or three weeks, has returned to his home here.

The cattle raisers of Russell county are now driving their cattle through to the railroad preparatory to shipping them to market. A number were shipped this week.
